This may be the best ultra low recoil, lightweight 20 bore in the world, and it belongs to me!  Debs of Lady Gun!  An ideal gun for ladies or people with smaller frames/statures and for those with back, neck or shoulder injuries that don’t want the recoil or weight of a 12 bore!  I’ve bought down duck and pheasant for the table with this beauty, and I’m now getting a new bespoke made with interchangeable rifle barrels to shoot wild boar in Europe (mmm, meaty sausages, ribs and a slow cooked, pulled wild boar meat baguette with German pickles!) and deer stalking in Scotland.

A fully bespoke, made to measure shotgun for less than you’d pay for a certain Italian off the shelf SL?  Yes, your measurements, your choice of engraving, and high end Turkish walnut stock/fore end!  An obtainable price and if you email me: debs@ladygun.uk I’ll get you a good price and a discount if you’re a member of BASC or GWCT!  Check out Manor & Co using the link below!

For many years Manor & Co’s Engineering Director Gerry Coulter has been working with Rolls Royce Power Generation and Jet Engines. He has been working with  obsolete engines, and making aftermarket parts for the engines that Rolls Royce no longer support to keep them running, reducing carbon footprint not just from having to re manufacture, but to keep them running as cleanly and efficiently as possible.. This involved working to the highest technical and quality standards of engineering.  It is the lynchpin of the Manor & Co quest for excellence and craftsmanship.

Due to his passion for game shooting, boar hunting and deer stalking, Gerry wanted one gun in a transport case that could be configured in any calibre as a complete shooting system. With his Engineering capabilities, he was determined to have a bespoke double rifle, shotgun, or rifle shotgun combination, from a single solution.

He further wanted to build Bolt Action Rifles utilising unused Mauser 98 Actions modified to civilian hunting calibers.

Also he wanted to bring together high quality engineering, along with the artisan craftsmanship of the goldsmith and engraver, to produce traditional London style side-lock ejector shotguns.

Manor & Co’s vision is to utilise parts and components from some of the finest gun makers in the world, along with materials and engineering from the aviation sector. With Gerry’s engineering background there is also a desire to always look at best performance and best practice.  The old adage where true artisan craftsmanship is concerned still stands: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.  That being said, Manor & Co will always look to new materials, environmental impact and fair pricing practices.

We use  Lothar Walther barrels for our rifles, and fine contemporary artisans for our shot gun making. Gerry believes that our finished products will stand alongside any best quality rifles and shotguns in the bespoke market.
